There are different points of view on music nowadays, but still we can't deny the fact that it has a significant influence on our emotions. From the very childhood we react to different sounds in the surroundings, like sounds of nature and human voices. Later we observe that our mood may change in the result of some sounds. For instance, when you hear somebody laughing heartily, it fills you with joy even when you don't know the motive for it. Different scientific investigations have proved that music has an influence on our brain. Thus, classical music develops our thinking abilities. After listening to classical music a person provides higher results in spatial tasks as jigsaw puzzles. The reason for that is that classical music pathways are the same as the pathways applied in spatial reasoning. Experts also affirm that in case you learn to play a musical instrument you improve your memory and analytical skills. Furthermore, classical music has an influence on our moral values. Sometimes you may hear an idea that only bores listen to classical music, but in fact this type of music is preferred by intellectually developed individuals with high moral values. It is possible to acquire a taste for classical music, but you need to spend some time listening to it and trying to understand what the composer wanted to say. In case you decided to expand your tastes in music, you should perform just a couple of simple moves. First of all, you should buy a CD with classical music or to download it from the World Wide Web. Do not try to get involved in the compositions at once. Let this music play while you are doing some other tasks. After a few days start paying attention to the composers you like. Focus on this music first, and later you will notice that you take pleasure in classical music and would like to listen to other composers as well. It's impossible to fall in love with classical music at once, but as time goes by you will not only observe the difference in your view on this type of music, but in your thinking abilities as well. |
